Meet the Doctor

Dr. Michel Mouravieff, DMD

Dr. Mouravieff is a high energy and intensely focused dentist. His passion and enthusiasm for diagnostic dentistry sets him apart from other dentists in the field.

After receiving a BS in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut in 1973, he served as a hospital pharmacy administrator for nine years.  Dr. Mouravieff’s understanding of diseases and the best ways to use medication led him to his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), in 1986.

Dr. Mouravieff is an advocate for well informed patients and their treatment plan. He cares for each patient and understands the trust you place in him the moment you walk through his office door. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the most up-to-date procedures and furthers his education by attending various clinical courses including thousands of hours in Periodontics, Implant and Prosthetic Dentistry, Occlusion, TMJ Dysfunction, Orthodontics, Endodontics and Snoring and Sleep Apnea.

He maintains active memberships in numerous professional organizations, including- the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Academy of Orofacial Pain, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Equilibration Society, Dental Organization for Sleep Apnea and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Mouravieff is also active in his local community and a sponsor for the Ridgewood Fourth of July Committee. He is a trustee and treasurer of the Ridgewood Education Foundation.

He has been married to his lovely wife Linda, since 1973. They have one daughter, Jessica, who is an architect. Their family enjoys their time together gardening, walking and fishing. Dr. Mouravieff has a love of photography- a past time he has enjoyed for 40 years.
